Easily distinguished by the attached flash suppressor, short forend, rubber buttplate, and modified rear sight to 800 yards. Approximately 250,000 made. Matching number on stock. Frame has the black finish, dated January of 1947. Proper altered front sight to 800 yards. Left side of band is stamped "ENGLAND". Left side of barrel is stamped British marks and tonnage. Black pressed metal forend tip, pressed single barrel band, black enamel magazine. Stock is very good with an added coat of varnish. Fine bore and action. Excellent condition post-war jungle carbine.
