Referred to as the 1914 military and manufactured from 1914 to 1918, it was a mainstay pistol during the first World War issued to the German Army. It is dated 1917 on chamber. Toggle is stamped "ERFURT" with crown. Mostly matching numbers. Firing pin and hold open are mismatched. Mismatched number on wood bottom magazine. Retains approximately 50-60% original finish, balance turning patina. Fine bore and action. Very good example of a standard World War I mid-war issue Luger.
