Serial no. 6184 was shipped as a combination pistol with shoulder stock holster to Wm. Frankfurth H. Company, Stuart Copeland on April 29th, 1912. According to John Potocki in the book "The Colt Model 1905" pages 55-56, only 440 Model 1905s were cut for shoulder stock, and 408 actually delivered with a shoulder stock. This one was shipped with the shoulder stock, making it one of only 408 manufactured. Other features include a high polish Colt mirror blue finish with Nitre blue small parts. Has the second style case, colored spur trigger hammer, fixed sights and finely hand checkered walnut diamond stocks. Slide retains approximately 90% of the original high polish blue finish with basic high edge wear and a couple of surface scratches on left side. Fire blue extractor. Frame retains approximately 95% of the original factory blue finish with the exception of the front and rear grip straps, which are a soft, smooth grey patina. Grips are near mint. Action is perfect. Strong, clean rifled bore. Perfect working condition. Includes brand new Triple K reproduction magazine.
