This revolver started life as a standard Colt Official Police .38 Heavy Barrel revolver. A King stamped No. 137 sight was installed, a King stamped micrometered click adjusting windage and elevation with automatic lock No. 160 was installed, a King type checkered offset hammer (not stamped), short throw action, custom coarse checkered wide target trigger, and a pair of smooth walnut finger groove left hand thumbrest grips. Action is smooth as silk. Near mint bore. Aside from some light muzzle wear and light drag line with some minor light high edge wear, gun retains 98% original blue. Beautiful early King target revolver.
