A finely detailed figural bronze sculpture titled "Eagle Taking Flight" by the French artist Jules Moigniez of 1835 to 1894. The eagle is perched upon a branch with wings spread 19 inches, preparing to take flight. Set on a 10-1/2 inch diameter green marble plinth with the artist's signature stamped on the sculpture that stands at 30 inches tall. Certain sections show nice patina.
Condition: (Excellent).
