Factory letter states this revolver was shipped December 31st, 1925 to Edward K. Tryon Co., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with 5" barrel, blue finish, butt swivel and checkered walnut non-monogrammed grips. "4306" written in pencil inside right grip panel. Built on the five screw, N frame, square butt, six shot blue finish with case colored hammer and trigger. The 6 - 1/2" barrel was standard, while the 4" and 5" models are extremely scarce. Beautiful all original condition, bright case colors, and overall 90-95% original factory blue finish with nominal high edge wear. Excellent to near mint grips. Fine action with a near mint bore. Very hard to find great condition big Smith .44.
