Curved 13 - 1/2" body with red painted and turned spout and bulbous plug. Remnants of period fringed leather on butt and around spout. Carved and paint decorated figures include a rabbit, a black and white dog, and a pair of hands releasing a colorful bird. Conical spout plug painted green and with black spirals carved in relief. Colors include polychrome yellow, red, green, blue, orange, white, and black. All surface shows significant age with yellowing and some areas of crazing. This is a very interesting and unusual piece of Americana!
