Measures 14 - 3/4" overall with a 9 - 1/8" steel diamond section blade with deep center fuller on each side. Silver plated "S" shaped guard with spiraling bone handle. Silver pommel cap with roped border and threaded silver-plated capstan, which unscrews. At bottom of handle is a silver ferrule with roped border. Brown leather scabbard with engraved silver mounts, throat mount with a lanyard ring on the back. Very good condition, blade polished bright with some light scratches. Mounts excellent and retaining a polished surface. Handle has some hairline cracks from age and one small area of insect damage near pommel. Scabbard excellent with some crazing and minor scuffs to surface. A very handsome European dirk.
