Slightly curved blade entirely inlaid with silver depicting figures, animals and calligraphy. The hilt of very finely carved ivory depicting detailed scenes of Hindu gods amidst foliage. Wood scabbard and hilt mounted with relief cast and engraved silver. Probably late 19th century. In fine condition throughout, one minor age crack in rosewood scabbard. Ivory and silver retain a very nice patina. This dah is a work of art, displaying very advanced craftsmanship.
