Cast brass head with dovetailed steel edge, measures 6 - 1/8" overall. Both sides engraved with rococo designs and borders, rounded bowl engraved with leaf designs. Figured maple haft inlaid with silver wire scrolls and with inlaid and engraved Moravian stars on both sides, silver mouth piece and bands on both sides of head. Excellent condition; brass retains a mellow patina, silver inlays retain a darkening patina and haft is excellent. A very nice contemporary tomahawk done in the traditional style.
