Manufactured 1944. Standard issue mid-war Remington Rand. Left side of frame is stamped "F.J.A." (Frank Atwood). There is a "P" next to magazine release. Right side of frame has the "UNITED STATES PROPERTY U.S. ARMY" stamp with partially visible Ordnance wheel to rear of grip. Parkerized with no raw metal visible. Left side of slide is stamped "REMINGTON RAND" with a "P" on top of slide. Blued barrel has "P" on left lug and "F" on right lug. All proper era parts to include short checkered trigger, spurless checkered hammer, serrated slide stop, checkered safety, serrated arched mainspring housing with loop. Magazine is blued with five vent holes and stamped "COLT .45 AUTO". Safety is blued. Sports a pair of star Keyes plastic grips. Bore is near mint. Slight drag line, otherwise gun retains 95% of the arsenal applied parkerized finish.
