Fantastic tug-o-war style strength tester featuring a large cast iron tiger with dial on its back and braided rope for a tail, mounted to an appropriate quarter sawn or "tiger" oak cabinet. With front casing that invites players to "Place Foot Here". Players deposit their penny near the top of the tiger's head and pull on the "tail". The dial measures their strength and if they pull hard enough, the tiger roars. Originally manufactured in 1928 by Exhibit Supply Co. this is the 8th recreation of its kind crafted by John Papa. Without keys.
