A wonderful version of a Grandmother's Predictions, manufactured by Mike Munves sometime in the 1950's. This example also goes by the name Tea Cup Fortune Teller for the hand painted tea cup seen on the front door. The cabinet is oak with details of red and black paint. The interior is all original from the clothing on the Grandmother to the tarot cards spread across the table. She is gently perched in front of red curtains with gold tassels elegantly lined above. When in operation- Grandmother's hands move side to side, her chest "breathes" and the crystal globe begins to glow as she is dispensing the patrons fortune below. There are 5 keys provided, not including the one that is broken.
