According to company literature, this model was never cataloged before the war in this bore with a 30" barrel. To date, this is one of only two known. Features solid rib, single bead sight, blued finish, takedown, deluxe pistol grip checkered walnut stock, Winchester grip cap and composite buttplate. It has a distinctive 28 gauge inside cuts and shows in nearly as new factory original condition inside and out. In fact, the only visible wear of any kind is a slight marr line on forward tube and a barely a hint of muzzle wear; 99.9% original finish. Wood is near new with sharp checking and only a couple of very minor impressions. It would be impossible to find a nicer example of this ultra-rare pre-war Model 12, especially in this bore. Factory research states Model 12 serial number applied March 19th, 1936. No other information available.
