Manufactured 1906-07. The Model 19 was the successor to the Model 1898. It is a Grade B. The 19-S included two extra screws for locking forend. Features blued finish, straight grain walnut pistol grip stock with no checkering, and grooved round bottom forend and a Marlin logo composite buttplate. Barrel on this example is basically a smooth plum-blue-brown patina. Receiver is basically grey patina. Buttstock is excellent and proud to metal with usual dings and minor varnish loss. Forearm has slight stress crack on left side that is barely visible. Sharp legends. Fully functional. Strong, clean bore.
