Have you ever wondered when you get a Smith & Wesson or a Colt that went to Zork Hardware who the ultimate end buyer was? Tens of thousands of guns were shipped to Zork Hardware from the time it was established in El Paso in 1887. These records list the gun, serial number, buyer and date for individual purchases of Colts, Smiths, Winchesters, Marlins, Savages, Stevens, Remingtons, Lugers, Webleys, Iver Johnson, L.C. Smith, Mauser Combination Guns, et al. The records start in 1902 and run through 1918. Each record page is listed by maker, model, caliber, buyer, and date; i.e. Colt Bisley 4 - 3/4" .32-20, and is very easy to go right to your model and year and look up the specific record for any particular gun. There are 36 individual plates with approximately 60 pages of entries per page; approximately 2,160 pages total with average guns sales per page of ten to 20 with an average of 20,000 to 40,000 entries.

One has only to verify one historic gun sold out of this historic destination, such as a personality, historical, sheriff, outlaw, etc., which will more than pay for the cost of this lot. The historical data within would be a fascinating study itself. This lot comes with an original microfilm reader in working condition and we replaced it with a new light bulb. This information is invaluable to Texas firearms enthusiasts.
