Model 37T. This was a very expensive gun in its day. Price had risen to almost $100 in 1942. As a result, very few were sold. After the war, the 37T was listed as the target grade. Given the serial number of this gun is below 509699, this is a trap grade and not a target grade but seems to be a mix or a transition gun. The gun features a full vent rib, blued finish, retains 98% of the reapplied finish, beautiful checkered walnut stocks with original Ithaca recoil pad. Barrel started as full choked but has been tapped to use thread in choke tubes; includes one Briley S-26 thin wall .708" choke. This is the first example of this war era trap gun that we have ever seen and it is in beautiful condition.
