Manufactured 1941. Features the stripper cut-in frame, hooded ramp front sight, barrel collar has blank, Lyman Model 48 receiver sight, checkered pistol grip walnut stock with straight comb, checkered steel buttplate, sling swivels, and blued floorplate and trigger guard. All metal retains approximately 97% original factory finish. Wood is excellent to near mint with some slight bleeding at butt. Fine bore and action. Extremely handsome pre-war .22 Hornet, one of the most popular calibers amongst collectors and shooters. This caliber was offered from 1937 to 1954 and accounts for 3.49% of production.
