Manufactured 1949. This Super Grade Safari features rust blued round barrel, ramp front sight, two leaf sporting rear sight, matte finish frame, Super Grade checkered walnut pistol grip stock, ebony tip, composite cap, solid red Winchester pad, Super Grade sling eyes and "Super Grade" stamped magazine floorplate. Bolt is not numbered. Retains 95% original blue on barrel with a couple areas of light salt and pepper near breech. 98% matte finish on frame. Excellent stock with sharp checkering. Floorplate retains 90% of the high polish rust blue but does have some salt and pepper as well, as does bolt knob. Fine bore and action. The .375 H&H represents a mere 2.41% of production and far fewer if you consider the Super Grade Models.
