Manufactured 1950. This rare first year of production Commander is built on the short A1 frame. Gun features blued finish, polished sides and early post-war first type logo grips. Very light indiscernible drag line. Gun is near new with a mint bore and action. A couple small storage marks on inside of grip frame. It would be nearly impossible to find a better Commander. Comes in and original period Colt two piece box with green inside, wrong number written on bottom, proper end label and original instructions.
