These are high-quality reproductions, made in the United States, not imported. U.S. Firearms Company purchased the old Colt factory, where the originals, as well as this carbine, were made. These had a great deal of hand fitting and finishing. Due to the high costs associated with this quality, the company went out of business. This carbine features a round blued barrel and tube magazine, barrel band and magazine end cap. Casehardened Colt Lightning frame. Plain oil-finished walnut buttstock with casehardened carbine buttplate. Cut-checkered walnut forearm. This beautiful high quality carbine is in excellent, as new condition, and is unfired.
