This exceptional 1866 Winchester pattern rifle, manufactured in Italy by Aldo Uberti and chambered for .45 Colt, has been outfitted with what appears to be best quality mid-range rear sight and a gold washed folding Beech front sight. Still retaining its Henry pattern folding sight in the barrel. Mounted with two piece highly figured walnut stocks and crescent magazine. Hammer and lever are vividly case color finished with barrel, magazine and screws being a fine extra finish blue. Rifle shows indication of light use with several areas of evident handling as well as several small scratches on barrel, and typical handling marks in stocks. Bore is bright and sharp and mechanics are functioning properly. An outstanding cowboy action rifle.
