Manufactured for the German military by Mauser. This is the 1939 chamber date with a "42" code. Features include round barrel with dovetailed inverted V front sight, V notch rear sight on rear link, thumb safety marked "GESICHERT" in the upper position, extractor marked "GELADN", center toggle link marked "42" and correct "(eagle) 655" Waffenamts on right side of receiver. This is an all matching numbers gun including the magazine. Gun retains approximately 98% of the original factory applied blue finish with just a bit of high edge wear. Wood checkered grips with sharp checkering. Great bore with sharp lands and grooves. A very desirable high condition, World War II bring back.
