Approximately 4,600 manufactured 1900 and 1901. Often referred to as the Philippine or Alaskan Model due to its enlarged trigger guard and elongated front trigger. Right side of the frame is dated "1902" and stamped "U.S.". Left side of frame has the "R.A.C." inspector stamp for Renaldo Carr, as does left side trigger guard. Back of cylinder is stamped "R.A.C." and "4917". Serial No. 7494 stamped on loading gate. It is a six shot, double action with blued finish and Colt gutta percha grips with sling swivel (ring missing). Trigger spur has been removed. Gun is basically a smooth blue-brown-grey homogenous patina. Indexes and locks up correctly. Strong, clean bore.
