Features half round-half octagon barrel, half magazine, checkered pistol grip stocks and hard rubber shotgun butt. This is an uncommon configuration for this early of a Deluxe Winchester 1894. These rifles where extremely expensive during their time of production and only of man of means could afford such a lavish rifle. Very good condition overall with over 80% blue finish remaining on barrel and forend cap. Receiver has over 75% thinning blue finish with balance turning plum to patina with edges of bottom being bright. Stocks are very good with much original finish remaining and good checkering. The hard rubber buttplate has survived over 100 years and is fine with no damage. Bore is rather dark but should clean. Mechanics are fine and crisp.
