Featherweight model with blue gloss finished barrel, sporter front sight, folding Lyman rear sporting rear sight, matte finish receiver, Featherweight pattern oil finished stock, aluminum floorplate and magazine door, and black plastic Winchester monogrammed buttplate. Very good as partially restored. Factory blue finishes are very good with over 80% remaining with losses at high points of receiver and at muzzle. The aluminum floorplate and trigger guard have their anodized finish thinning but still quite evident. The bore and mechanics are excellent. Bolt number matches receiver. The stock has been professionally stripped and oil finished with a slight amount of sanding evident at forward trigger guard screw. The Featherweight Winchester Model 70 is an American classic hunting rifle and is treasured by both collectors and hunters alike.
