Cylinder bore barrel with proper "P" proof and bomb on right side of chamber ring, and correct ventilated heat shield with bayonet lug for the pattern 1917 bayonet. Smooth plain walnut stocks marked "520-30" and "US" on left side with ordnance "P" and bomb on left side of receiver. Mounted with a supple BOYT 1943 leather sling. This is one the finest examples we have ever seen . Showing no actual use with just a trace of thinning finish from age and the witness mark from operating the slide. Could not be improved upon. With a total production of less than 34,000 they are some of the rarest examples of World War II issued small arms. These guns had a terrible survival rate and are rarely found in prime condition. CORRECTION: This shotgun was completely disassembled and the matching serial No. 64695 is stamped inside tang, barrel and on the inside wrist of stock. There is also a partial matching serial number inside lower tang. Buttplate is stamped "23122" and a "6".
