Manufactured 1918. 26 inch 8-18 dated Eddystone barrel, Blued finish receiver tigger guard and butt plate. All visible parts are Eddystone marked. Three piece American walnut stocks with Eagle head inspection for WW1 present at wrist and forearms Stock is Marked "E" for Eddystone mfg. as well at tip. Rifle is original blue finish with no indication of rebuild or restoration. Condition Very fine overall. Over 80% blue finish remaining on barrel and receiver. Bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling. Stocks are excellent with several minor dings and bruises but no cracks or material loss. Rear sight has been changed to a contemporary target variation with fitting evident on interior of right rear sight ear. Complete with a1917 dated Winchester produced Enfield pattern bayonet less scabbard
