Gun (A) is a MAS 1936-51. 7.5 French caliber. Import marked on the bottom of the receiver. Retains a pleasing patina overall with some light to moderate pitting here and there. Numbers are not matching. Stock is worn and rough but solid. Bore is good with strong rifling. Good mechanical function. Equipped with the original grenade launcher and a proper rubber recoil pad. Proper leather sling. Gun (B) is a WWII era German rifle that was refurbished by the Yugoslavian government post-war. This gun still retains the original German model designation of "Mod. 98" on the receiver with the addition of the Yugoslavian "Preduzece 44"which denotes that this gun was refurbished at "Institute 44"-Kragujevac, Serbia" also the current location of Zastava Arms. This gun has the Yugoslavian crest on the top of the receiver as well. Numbers are not matching. Retains 85% finish overall. Some light rust on the buttplate. Laminated stock has some splitting towards the buttplate. Good mechanical function. Import marked on the barrel. Bore is fine with strong rifling. Brown leather sling. This gun is also accompanied by a WWII period MUNDLOS made 98k bayonet the has a Yugoslavian rebuild number stamped into the crossguard. Blade does not appear to have been sharpened. Bakelite grips. Comes in a non-matching scabbard with leather frog which are also both proper for a Yugo rebuild.
