Gun (A) is a Smith & Wesson New Model No. 3 Navy six shot, double action revolver with case colored hammer and trigger, blued trigger guard and a beautiful set of thick, clear Mother of Pearl grips that fit perfectly. This gun has a great Western look. Still retains 85% nickel on barrel, 60% nickel on cylinder, 50% nickel on left side of frame, 70% nickel on right side of frame, 80% blue on trigger guard and nice colors. Appears to have a couple of scratched-in letters on right side (not readable), possible ranch mark. Action locks up correctly. Strong rifled bore. Nice looking big bore Western revolver. Gun (B) is a blued Belgian made No. 3 copy with full round trigger guard, black composite grips with "1914" in both ovals. Top of frame is stamped "SECRET SERVICE .44 CAL". These are generally found in horrible condition but this examples retains 80-85% original blue with balance blended perfectly with soft patina. Grips are near mint. Action locks up correctly. Fine bore. Very interesting, fine condition copy. Well-made with interesting grips and top strap nomenclature.
