Manufactured in 1893. One of the hardest Colt Lightning's to find is the baby carbine. Features include; round light weight barrel with full length tubular magazine. Integral front and factory carbine type ladder sights. Blue slide action with Rampant Colt logo and saddle ring on left side and dust cover. Two piece forend with checkered panels. Rear carbine stock with metal butt plate. Gun retains approximately 65% of the factory applied blue finish with the remainder turning to a pleasing brown patina. Walnut stocks are proud to metal and show light handling and storage marks. Bright shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves. Comes in a period wood case with brass fittings and green felt interior. Also comes with a full box of .44 Winchester head primed shells. Overall in great condition. From the G. Thomas Puett Collection.
