The figural group depicting five long horned steers walking along rocky terrain, mounted on a marble plinth, is marked "Frederic Remington" and "100/500" on the base on the sculpture. The marble plinth is affixed with a plaque reading "Inspired by Frederic Remington" and the title, both in script. Sculpture is very fine overall, good original patina with brown coloration throughout on a green to black marble base. From the Ray Bentley Collection.
