Manufactured in 1895. This is a Third Model 1873 Winchester musket. Features include; round barrel with full length musket style tubular magazine, musket style post front sight and adjustable folding-leaf rear sight, blued lever action with original dust cover, case color lever and hammer. Musket type front stock with three barrel bands and rear carbine butt walnut stocks with metal carbine buttplate. Original cleaning rod is in the trapdoor. Gun retains approximately 80% of the original factory applied blue finish. Hammer and lever show generous amounts of case colors. Wood is proud to metal with just a few handling and storage marks. Good bore with good lands and grooves.
