Comprising: A) Rifled octagonal steel barrel with steel under rib, top flat inscribed "A.J. Jones". Rear buckhorn sight and front blade sight. Features include a stamp-engraved back-action percussion lock, double set triggers and brass furniture. Maple half-stock with pewter endcap. Complete with slightly short wooden ramrod, probably replaced. Good condition, steel components retain a dark patina with some corrosion, especially at breech. Wood has some scattered marks and dings, and a period repair behind lock tang. B) English Percussion Shotgun by W.W. Greener. Twin round smoothbore Damascus steel barrel with solid rib marked "W.W. GREENER ST. JAMES'S LONDON." Hooked patent breeches with scroll-engraved tang. Flat twin percussion lockplates scroll-engraved and marked "W.W. GREENER". Double triggers and engraved steel furniture. Small silver shield-shaped vacant wrist escutcheon. Partially figured English straight stock with checkered wrist. Complete with brass-tipped ebony ramrod. Very good, as refinished. Barrels retain most of thinning finish. Locks and furniture retain a grey patina, actions strong and bores shiny. Stock re-checkered and with some minor repairs around left lock and barrel tang. A very nice refurbished English muzzleloading shotgun.
