Mono-bloc barrels with slightly raised ventilated rib and ventilated side ribs, have Perazzi information and gold inlaid "Mirage" on top portion of mono-bloc. Barrel flats are stamped with 1974 Italian nitro proofs for 2-3/4" chambers. Barrels are fitted with interchangeable chokes. Coin finished, low profile, over-under action with removable V-spring trigger group features automatic safety. Action is engraved with nicely cut Baroque acanthus scroll with floral highlights, this scroll emanates from the mouth of gold inlaid swan-necked dragons on each side. Scroll on bottom of action surrounds another lion-headed mythological beast. Matching scroll and acanthus is on blued trigger guard and firing group mechanism. Finely marbled European walnut extreme pistol grip buttstock measures 14-3/4" over black KICKEEZ pad on spring type anti-spring coil device. An adjustable comb has also been fitted. Well cut point pattern checkering is at grip. Matching one piece full forend has Deeley type release. Gun is housed in high quality oak and leather case with stitched leather corners with central brass shield and has green canvas outer cover. Interior is lined in green cloth with wood topped dividers. A number of high quality accessories are French fitted, including three turnscrews, chamber brush, cleaning rod, action spring cocking device, and stock removing tool, all with ebony handles. Excellent condition, with evidence of a fair amount of use, but no abuse. Barrels retain over 95% original blue. Coin finish on action is still bright. There's a few minor marks in stock finish, checkering darkened. Action is tight. Mechanically fine. Case is very fine to excellent, as protected by its outer cover. Interior and accessories are excellent. A fine target gun ready for many more rounds of clays.
