Lot contains an Enfield No. 4 Mk 1 bolt action rifle in .303 and a Enfield No. 5 Mk 1 jungle carbine in .303. (A) Enfield No. 4 Mk 1 rifle manufactured by Savage ("S" marked) in 1942. Marked "U.S. Property" on left side of receiver. Rifle's metal finish appears to have been arsenal refinished, and is in very good condition with approximately 75% of the finish remaining. Stock is in very good condition with a painted "ZF" on the left rear, and several dings and scattered marks. Receiver, bolt, magazine and stock have matching numbers. Bore is in excellent condition. Includes correct military issue sling. (B) Enfield No. 5 Mk1 rifle manufactured in 1945. Rifle is in good condition with about 60% of the original finish remaining, and areas of freckling on trigger guard, magazine and butt stock. Stock is in very good condition with several dings and light marks. Bolt and receiver have matching numbers. Includes correct sling.
