Made between 1915 and 1942. On page 139 of the book Standard Catalog of Smith and Wesson 3rd Edition it states that this is a .38 Military and Police of 1905 4th change. Pinned barrel with round blade front sight. Notch cut rear in the top of the strap. Double action with a fluted cylinder. Case color trigger and hammer. Checkered walnut two piece grips with large diamond. Great bore with strong lands and grooves. Revolver retains approximately 90% of the original applied factory blue finish. With a bit of holster wear at the muzzle and high edge wear.
