STUNNING HIGH ARCH ITHACA $5000 GRADE KNICK MODEL SBT.ITHACADOLLAR SIGN 500024040566612 GAMODERN12 ga. 32" bbls. 2-3/4" chambers. CHOKED: Full. Full length matted ventilated rib with synthetic ivory mid and front bead. Gold plated checkered trigger, automatic ejector, no safety. Capped full pistol grip buttstock, elaborately checkered with panel behind comb, Scallops near pistol grip cap, checkered side panels. 14-1/2" LOP over Pachmayr basket weave white lined pad. Gold shield near toe. Pistol grip cap is serrated carved bone. Forearm with Deeley release is beautifully checkered in curved point pattern. Receiver is full coverage, scroll and game scene engraved. Ducks in marsh scene in gold on left, pheasants in field scene in gold on right. Gold quail in woods scene on bottom of frame and woodcock in gold on trigger guard. Top of frame is finely stippled and surrounded by scroll engraving. Sides of bbls, fully scroll engraved with "Ithaca Gun Co." in a perfectly executed banner. WEIGHT: 8 lbs. 8 oz. PROVENANCE: The Collection of Robert Burg. CONDITION: Extremely fine, near new. Bbls retain 98-99% orig blued finish. Receiver retains 95-98% bright and strong orig case color, which is somewhat hidden due to the deep engraving. Buttstock and forearm are excellent, retaining most of their orig varnish, with a few light chips to the finish and handling marks throughout. Mechanics are excellent. Brilliant shiny bore.
