WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 SADDLE RING CARBINE TRAPPER MODEL WITH 16" BARREL WINCHESTER 1892 386756 44 WCF MODERN; C&R Cal. 44 WCF 16" bbl. Blue finish. Straight grained American walnut stocks with carbine butt and saddle ring. Standard carbine sights. CONDITION: Very good for this model. Bbl and magazine tube are a smooth gray-brown patina with some staining and slight erosion at muzzle end of magazine. Sights are very good. Bbl markings are sharp and clear. Bore is frosty with visible rifling. Receiver is a gray-brown patina overall with some mars around loading port and screws. Some screws have been replaced. There are some dents on top of receiver along side of bolt. Hammer and lever are dark brown patina. Lever shows some roughness on bottom and loop is slightly bent. Tang marking is very good. Tang screw is a replacement. Stocks are very good and have been lightly cleaned. Buttplate and bbl band are also even gray-brown patina. An opportunity to obtain a 92 Trapper carbine in a bbl length that requires no A.T.F. clearance. 50076-8 TEP (2,000-3,000)
