COLLECTOR'S LOT OF THREE HANDGUNS - SPREEWERKE P-38, FN BROWNING M1922, AND COLT POLICE POSITIVE .38 COLT REVOLVER.LOT OF 3 GERMAN/BROWNING/COLTP-38/M1922/POLICE POS6916X/11062/1392539 MM/.32 ACP/.38 COLTMODERN; C&R1) Cal 9 mm Parabellum, P-38 marked with cyq and WaA 88 proofs indicating Spreewerke mfg. Late war production with prominent milling marks. Matching Bbl, slide and frame. Take-down latch is loose to the point where it drops free when slide is in rear position. Includes one magazine and an orig "dla 44" (Karl Barth Militareffekten Fabrik) marked brown leather holster. 2) Cal .32 acp, FN Browning M1922 Nazi marked with WaA 140 proofs. Straightforward specimen with wooden grips, and "FN" logo marked magazine. Numbers match between frame, barrel and barrel bushing. 3) Cal .38 Colt, 4" Bbl Colt Police Positive double action revolver with exotic burlwood finger-grooved grips. Serial number indicates manufacture in 1929. Marked "COLT Police Positive 38" on left side of Bbl. Includes black leather flap holster. CONDITION: 1) P-38 - Fine overall finish and appearance with wear to bare metal at high edges of slide, and particularly at right forward inch of slide, and at muzzle. Front-strap & trigger guard thinning to gray appearance. Grips near excellent. Bore fine with light frosting. Holster serviceable. 2) Browning M1922 - Very good to fine overall finish and appearance with some mottling to bare metal and light scratches. Grips somewhat worn checkering but completely solid and serviceable. Clean bore. 3) Colt Police Positive - Very good overall finish and appearance with wear to bare metal along both sides of barrel and to other high edges. Aftermarket wood grips cracked and glued through both escutcheons with a 1/2" chunk out of right grip panel at rear. Mechanically tight with good bore. 49666-4 JWK12 (800-1,350)
