WEDGWOOD FAIRYLAND LUSTRE CASTLE ON A ROAD BOWL.Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre octagonal bowl is decorated with the Castle on a Road pattern on the exterior set against a striated blue lustre sky. Interior of the bowl is decorated with Woodland Elves VIII also known as Boxing Match. The pattern is set against a daylight lustre background. Vase is signed on the underside with gold Portland vase mark, "Wedgwood England" and "Z4968". SIZE: 11" dia. CONDITION: Some minor scratches and wear to gilded flowers in bottom interior of bowl, otherwise very good to excellent. 48621-3 DAB (1,500-2,500)
