HANDEL PERSIAN BORDER TABLE LAMP.Handel table lamp has blown dome shaped shade with chipped ice exterior with Persian border surrounding exterior rim of shade. Persian border done in greens, reds and tans against mustard yellow background. Signed on interior "Handel Co. 6443". Shade rests on an original Handel base with subtle cast tree design surrounding stem and leading to a three socket cluster. Base is complete with Handel fleur-de-lis pierced cap and is finished in rich brown patina. SIZE: Shade is 18" dia. Lamp is 23" t. PROVENANCE: From the Unreserved Collection of Dr. & Mrs. Brian Bojesen. CONDITION: Lamp is very good to excellent. Old cloth cord is frayed and should be replaced. 50361-12 DAB (2,000-3,000)
