HANDEL PARROT PANEL TABLE LAMP.Handel table lamp has paneled shade with four panels, two have reverse painted parrots in flight with obverse painted tan and brown foliage around each bird, other two panels have more of obverse painted foliage all against acid textured frosted glass background. Unsigned. Shade rests on Handel base with acanthus leaf decoration on top of round foot as well as shoulder of stem, vertically ribbed riser supports three socket cluster. Base is finished in rich brown with red highlights. Unsigned. SIZE: Shade is 18-1/2" dia at widest. Lamp is 23-1/2" t. PROVENANCE: From the Unreserved Collection of Dr. & Mrs. Brian Bojesen. CONDITION: Shade has old solder repair to cross bars at top, otherwise very good to excellent. Base is very good to excellent. Re-wired with appropriate cloth cord. 50361-17 DAB (2,000-3,000)
