Handel table lamp has reverse painted dome shaped shade with brightly colored macaw parrots perched on limbs and one in flight against a backdrop of lush jungle foliage. Exterior of shade is finished in chipped ice. Signed on inside rim "Handel 6874" and also carries artist initials "H.B." Shade rests on original Handel Oriental style base with polychrome flowers, stems and leaves as well as birds in flight all against ivory colored background. Lamp is complete with original three socket cluster and matching fleur-de-lis pierced heat cap. Base is unsigned. SIZE: Shade is 18" dia. Lamp is 22" t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent.
