LOVELY BROWNING TROMBONE 22 CALIBER RIFLE ENGRAVED BY JOSE BARTEN FOR BROWNING COLLECTORS ASSOCIATION. BROWNING TAKEDOWN RIFLE 166PW01053 22 LR MODERN Cal. 22 LR. 22" bbl. Sporting sights. Receiver engraved by master Jose Barten, replicating Grade III by Felix Funken. Only 60 of these rifles were produced & this one is numbered on floorplate 55/60. Rifle features a running fox on left side, a hunting dog on right side, all surrounded by foliate scroll. Receiver is bright finish. Stock & forend in highly figured Claro hand checkered walnut with round knob grip. Gun is accompanied by custom fitted burgundy luggage case & orig shipping box. CONDITION: Very fine. This collector grade rifle appears virtually "as new", slight wear lines on mag tube from operation. Wood finish is nearly flawless. Case & box excellent.
