BEAUTIFUL JAMES WILKINSON, LONDON PERCUSSION SPORTING RIFLE. J. WILKINSON & SONS SINGLE SHOT PERC NSN 577 CAL Cal. 577. About 30" oct bbl, including breech "JAS. WILKINSON & SON LONDON GUNMAKERS TO HIS MAJESTY", 3-leaf rear sight, engraved and case hardened lock marked "JAS. WILKINSON & SON". This single key half stock rifle appears like new with rich engraving, also on buttplate, trigger guard and breech, silver thumbplate and platinum breech plug. CONDITION: Excellent as professionally refinished, retaining virtually all of its brown, blue and case colors which are sharp, sound with bright, piano varnished finish. There is one large dent on right side of checkering. Mechanically crisp with bright shiny bore, with well discerned multi-groove rifling. 50827-7 JS (2,000-4,000)
