EXQUISITE CUSTOM MAUSER SPORTER CALIBER 338 WIN MAG. MAUSER BOLT ACTION K4786 338 WIN MAG MODERN; IVORY Cal. 338 Win Mag. Best quality long Mauser action with 24" bbl with quarter rib mounted 3-leaf express rear sights with banded ramped front sight base and ivory bead sight. Professionally finished in a deep non-reflective blue. Jeweled bolt body with 4-panel checkered bolt handle and commercial cocking body with Winchester type lever safety. Blackburn adjustable trigger and mounted with Redfield 1-pc bridge mount and Redfield rings. Attached is a matte finished Leupold vari-X3. Gold ring scope and 2.5X8 variable power magnification. Polished rails and properly opened feed ramp for its long belted magnum cartridge. Elegantly contoured highly figured Circassian walnut stock. With ebony forend tip and beautifully contoured metal grip cap. Masterfully checkered at forearm and wrist with scalloped and contoured cheek rest on left side. A perfectly fitted commercial Blackburn trigger guard housing with drop floorplate. Hand engraved magazine follower indicates cal. .338 Win. Mag. is hand inletted and fitted to the standard of a best quality custom rifle. Masterfully fitted sling swivel bases fitted into a wonderfully raised platform. Has red recoil pad marked "London Guns, Santa Monica, California" expertly installed. PROVENANCE: Remarkable William Larkin Moore Private Estate Collection of Fine Sporting Arms. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, with virtually all blue finish remaining with only the slightest amount of edge wear at muzzle from being inserted into a case. Stock has several very minor scratches and two slight crushing bruises into edge of cheek rest.
