EXTREMELY FINE FIRST MODEL COLT WOODSMAN MATCH TARGET.COLT1ST BULLSEYE TARGETMT460622LRMODERN; C&RCal. 22. 6-1/2" bbl. High polish pre-war blue finish overall. Pinned patridge front sight with Stevens rear sight. Elephant ear checkered walnut grips with rampant Colt medallions. Nickel finished properly marked 10-shot Colt Woodsman Match Target mag. Manufactured 1939. One of only 15,100 produced. PROVENANCE: Estate Collection of Jim Baldwin. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine with slight finish loss at muzzle and one small loss of finish at backstrap. Excellent bore and mechanics showing very little actual use. Appropriate elephant ear grips have several very minor repairs but are solid and serviceable. Far better than most Match Targets that have been offered anywhere.
