FINE COMMERCIAL COLT GOVERNMENT MODEL WITH MILLS HOLSTER.COLT1911 GOVT.C8708145MODERN; C&RCal. .45 ACP. 5" bbl. Very fine commercial Colt Government model, manufactured 1914. Factory checkered diamond pattern walnut grips. 2-tone lanyard loop Colt mag. Accompanied by undated Mills Patent web holster with steel plug. CONDITION: Very fine with a light coating of recent surface corrosion. Grips are excellent and sharp. Bore and mechanics are equally fine. A diligent cleaning would greatly enhance its condition. Holster is near new, no staining and most of its arsenal blackening on metal, lift-the-dot snap has pulled free but is believed it can be replaced. 50546-1 TDW (2,500-4,500)
