BEAUTIFULLY CRAFTED LUCIANO BOSIS MICHELANGELO SIDELOCK OVER-UNDER SHOTGUN WITH CASE. BOSIS OU MICHELANGELO 216 20 GA MODERN Cal. 20 ga. 2-3/4" Chambers. Luciano Bosis custom makes approx 25 guns per year, all of the finest quality. Engraving is normally contracted directly by the customer, and a new Bosis retails at over $60,000.00 without engraving. This particular gun has 27-5/8" demi-bloc bbls by Luterotti, which are beautifully struck. They are fitted with slightly raised, narrow, file cut, ventilated rib. Left side of top bbl is engraved "Luciano Bosis - Brescia - Italy". Bbl flat is stamped with 1998 Italian nitro proofs for 2-3/4" chambers. Boss style, low profile, coin finished, OU action features non-automatic safety (SICURA engraved), and single non-selective trigger. Action and lockplates are engraved with near full coverage exceptionally well cut, classic English type rose and scroll. "LUCIANO BOSIS" is on each side of action, as well as on bottom over "BRECIA". Engravers signature, the highly regarded "Naida Martinelli", is on trigger plate. Exceptional burl figured European walnut straight grip buttstock measures 14-5/8" over thin, black Decelerator pad. Very well cut point pattern checkering with line border is at grip. Matching, near fully checkered, slim, one piece forend has Anson type release, with button in wrap-around forend tip, with inlet gold Bosis crest on uncheckered central diamond. Bore diameter: top -.625, bottom - .625. Bore restrictions: top - .027 (full), bottom - .025 (mod). Drop at heel: 2-1/8", drop at comb: 1-5/16". Weight: 6 lbs. 9 oz. LOP: 14-5/8". High quality tan leather motor case with stitched leather corners is lined in purple cloth, and has gold embossed black leather Bosis label in lid. Case contains plastic case with spare strikers, mainsprings, and tool. CONDITION: Excellent, near to new, with only a few minor marks on wood and metal finishes. Bbls have some assembly marks, with a scuff on left side at grip. Bores are excellent. Mechanically crisp. Case leather is still light in color, with some minor marks, and a very deep jagged scratch on front. Handle and straps are very fine. Interior cloth is excellent, as are tool and replacement parts. 50175-1 MGM4 (35,000-55,000)
